The webinar explains how call backs can be unexpected, disruptive, contentious and costly in terms of lost profits and opportunities.

The webinar outlines these 4 Secrets to a Successful Tile Installation:

1.       Know what you’re up against.  Businesses should conduct pre-installation inspections to fully understand a job and how to bid for it properly. The webinar advises companies to train staff to do thorough inspections.

2.       Master the art of selling surface prep. Often undervalued, surface prep is an essential step necessary to a successful installation. Installers need to educate customers about the problems that can be avoided with proper surface preparation.

3.       Know the best product solution for an installation challenge. Research the latest handbook and materials selection guide from the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) for the latest technologies; the installation methods referenced in project specifications; and material manufacturer warranty offerings for leading-edge solutions.

4.       Invest in training. A company should dedicate two percent of its budget to training – and participate in training offered by manufacturers, associations and Department of Labor approved training providers.
