ClosetMaid® Helps Houston High-Rise Exude Elegance

Penthouse Suites Feature ClosetMaid® MasterSuite® Walk-ins

Publish Date: Thursday, September 17, 2015

Ocala, Fla. — Just blocks away from Uptown Houston’s finest dining and retail spots, Hanover Post Oak ascends 30 stories into the picturesque skyline. The city’s newest high-rise apartment complex, nestled in the Galleria area, sits on 1.2 acres within the 21-acre Blvd Place. Parallel in luxury to boutiques like Hermes of Paris and Herman Miller – sitting right around the corner — Hanover Post Oak’s location is tough to beat. And at the peak of it all, five penthouse suites enjoy the best of the best – panoramic views, floor to ceiling windows, and thanks to ClosetMaid® – a beautifully organized walk-in closet to showcase those new designer threads and pieces.

A ClosetMaid MasterSuite® storage system adds beautiful necessity to each Hanover Post Oak penthouse master bedroom. Floor-mounted for superior support, the frame panels and shelves of MasterSuite have a durable, scratch and stain-resistant, thermally fused melamine finish. The custom closet units in the penthouses are finished in Chocolate Pear, with soft-closing, full-extension gliding, solid wood drawers.

Keeping with its promise of fully customizable options, ClosetMaid offered and designed an array of accessories to include in the closets. The Hanover Management team relied on ClosetMaid to help with several possible versions of the design before coming to one ideal solution.

The developers and installers of the high-rise ultimately chose to incorporate as many indulgences as possible. The walk-in closet space of every unit includes ¾” corner shelves and radius bars at each workable corner of the room, and crescent chrome drawer handles to add an extra touch of elegance. Reaching above and beyond modern amenities, the closets include valet rods for showcasing special pieces.

Multiple rows of shoe racks and a large, center island finish off each closet.

“We chose ClosetMaid because of their flexibility in storage design,” says Mike Rouse, President of project installer Doors & More. “Since we offered it as an additional upgrade, MasterSuite provided the luxury and aesthetic appeal we were looking for.”

The ClosetMaid sales team worked closely with installers during the installation process to ensure a flawless system. All five penthouses were upgraded with MasterSuite, and Rouse says the residents are extremely pleased with the ClosetMaid product.

In addition to the five penthouse suites, Hanover Post Oak holds 355 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The Hanover Company's multifamily project started leasing in November 2014, and was finalized in early 2015. Apartment amenities feature 10- to 12.5-foot ceilings and stone countertops, among other extravagant features. Hanover’s penthouse suites take luxury even further with their limestone fireplaces, rain showers and soaker tubs, and the custom ClosetMaid walk-in closets.
